Dr. Alexander founded CHIRO-2-GO on the principle that healthcare should be accessible, individualized, and rooted in the scientific method. As a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, he carries forward a legacy of clinical excellence, enhanced by a Master of Science in Research and advanced training in Functional Neurology.

A Research-Driven Perspective

Dr. Alexander’s approach is shaped by his selection into a prestigious postdoctoral research fellowship—joining a cohort of only four clinicians for his two-year tenure. During this time, he served as an Examining Doctor and Data Extractor for large-scale clinical trials funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Defense (DOD). This dual role required a rigorous commitment to clinical precision and a unique ability to critically evaluate medical literature. This expertise in clinical best-practice guidelines was further honed through his work performing medical reviews, where he ensured that clinical decision-making met the highest standards of safety and efficacy.

Bridging Research and Results

This foundational background, enhanced by over 10 years of clinical experience, allows Dr. Alexander to act as a "quality control" expert for your health. His commitment to high-standard care led to his participation in the Michigan Back Collaborative (MIBAC)—a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan initiative dedicated to implementing statewide standards of excellence for spine care. In this role, he focused on applying evidence-based clinical guidelines to ensure that patients receive the most validated and effective treatments available.

A Commitment to Specialty Care

To better serve patients with complex conditions, Dr. Alexander dedicated two years to postgraduate training in Functional Neurology through the Carrick Institute. This intensive program bridges the gap between traditional neurology and physical rehabilitation, informing the personalized care plans he develops in his everyday practice.

Clinical Contributions & Research

Masters Thesis Presentation: Dr. Alexander presenting research findings on biomechanical force and patient outcomes to a cohort of healthcare peers. His work focuses on utilizing objective data to refine the precision of clinical care.

Featured in ACA News: Dr. Alexander co-authored this clinical review on the non-pharmaceutical management of Orthostatic Hypotension. This work provides a roadmap for clinicians to identify and support patients struggling with position-related blood pressure changes, emphasizing a holistic, neuro-mechanical approach to systemic health.

Postdoctoral Research Study

Quantifying Clinical Precision: Developed in collaboration with senior research advisors, this study monitored over 73 treatment visits across 12 participants to accurately quantify the biomechanical forces used during Flexion Distraction therapy. By measuring the specific mechanical inputs required for patient improvement, Dr. Alexander’s research helps bridge the gap between traditional manual therapy and data-driven clinical results.
